RECAP: Closing Session of the State FFA Leadership Conference

Session Seven, “A New Dawn,” marked a powerful and emotional close to the 2026 California FFA State Leadership Conference.

Chaired by the entire 2025–2026 State FFA Officer Team, the session opened with ceremonies reflecting on a week of growth, connection, and unforgettable moments, while looking ahead to the future of California FFA.

Members and supporters were recognized for their contributions, including the Executive Committee, Conference Ambassadors, and Courtesy Corps, whose efforts made the conference run smoothly and successfully. The excitement continued with Regional Competition Awards, with the San Joaquin Region taking the win—celebrating the energy and spirit members showed all week.

The FFA Got Talent winners, Winters FFA Boy Band, returned for an encore performance, bringing one final moment of excitement and celebration to the stage.

State FFA President Lily Vaughan delivered her retiring address, sharing heartfelt reflections and leaving members with meaningful words: “Impact doesn’t begin when you feel ready—it begins when you say yes.” Her message reminded members of the power of leadership, growth, and staying true to one’s purpose.

The 2025–2026 State FFA Officer Team and Past State FFA Officers were then recognized for their dedication and service, with heartfelt words by Assistant State FFA Advisor, Hugh Mooney.

One of the most anticipated moments followed with the announcement and installation of the 2026–2027 State FFA Officer Team. As names were called and jackets zipped, the future of California FFA officially took the stage—symbolizing a new year of leadership, service, and opportunity. Congratulations to the officers who will spend the next year serving our membership:
