A Workshop for Every Leader

The 2023 State FFA Leadership Conference features six workshop sessions, offering participants more than 60 different workshop topics to choose from. Here are some examples of workshop session being offered at this year's conference.

Are you looking to stand out from the crowd? Join us as we learn the process that will make sure you get a call back. Whether you're looking for a job, applying for scholarships, or running for office; this workshop will provide everything necessary for you to feel confident from start to end.

It’s the Game of Life! Agvocacy in Action
Presented by Jacob Dugo, Alyssa Partner, Francis Pierce, Daniel Romero, Austin Terra & Jennifer Urenda, Modesto Junior College
Make choices, advocate for ag, or loose it all! This interactive workshop will allow you to play your childhood favorite game in a life-sized model. MJC Presents The Game of Life where you will learn how to be an effective advocate of agriculture and learn how to share the message from your chapter and beyond.

As you can see, there truly is something for everyone at the 95th Annual State Leadership Conference. From team building to job searching, FFA members gained new skills at today's workshop sessions.

Agricultural education strives to maintain its status on the cutting-edge of rigorous classroom instruction, relevant skill acquisition and premier leadership development. Beginning in the early 20th century in California, agricultural education has a long tradition of preparing students for rigorous, satisfying careers both within and outside of the industry. As a school-based learning program, agricultural education operates as a unit within the California Department of Education and is written into the state’s legislative education code.
