RECAP: State FFA Leadership Conference Third Session

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Members and supporters of the California Future Farmers of America (FFA) returned to the Golden 1 Center for the third session of the 96th State FFA Leadership Conference in Sacramento, with a theme of “Stellar Supporters.”

At this session, members heard from the California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary, Karen Ross, who commended California FFA and agricultural education for building transferable soft skills within the future generation of agriculturists.

Regional Officers Leadership Conference: In-Person and In Buellton

The annual Regional Officers Leadership Conference will convene in Buellton from July 25 to July 28. State Officers will share this year's theme, “Embrace the Adventure.” Maico Ortiz, National Officer Candidate, will also take part in the program.

‘Embracing Agriculture' is one of the meeting threads. Regional officers will join more than thirty ag industry professionals for a casual conversation. This session was the highlight of last year's conference for regional officers. Industry experiences in the Santa Maria Valley take place later that day.
